Doggy Matters

I work as a Therapist in mental and emotional health.  My passion is connecting with people in bespoke ways, to inspire change in their lives for the better.

I grew up with and love dogs. Then, as a Therapist, found myself “prescribing” dogs as a wonderfully therapeutic intervention.  Until I had to prescribe myself a dog in to get me through a crisis.  I adopted Brody as a re-home in October 2018; I am his 3rd Mommy.

The captivating connection they Long to forge with us humans is so amazing.  Growing up with dogs as family pets, and having owned 4 of my own, I observed the huge diversity of human reactions to dogs – which had nothing to do with my dog, his behaviour or character – and the puzzling mismatch therein.
